🔍 The Child Research Ethics Group (CREG) supports NGOs and researchers conducting studies with children and youth who have no or limited access to a formal ethics review board.
We understand your challenge: you're doing important research with and for children, but lack access to an IRB, ethics committee, or external feedback. That’s where we come in.
We support you throughout your research journey with:
- Independent ethical review of research protocols, consultation plans and evaluations
- Guidance on safeguarding and working with vulnerable children
- Advice on meaningful engagement with children and participatory methodologies
- Ongoing, context-aware support throughout your research process
CREG is a collaboration between Family for Every Child, Terre des Hommes Netherlands, and Children Unite. We bring together experienced researchers and practitioners from diverse contexts.
We don’t see ethics as a tick-box exercise. We see it as an ongoing conversation.
