This webinar provided an opportunity to hear about recent research that Family for Every Child has been conducting in the area of climate change and children on the move, as well as an in-depth look at how climate change is impacting children and families on the move in Nepal, Bangladesh, and the Sunderbans region in India, and action that is being taken to address it.

This webinar was designed to help attendees understand more about the link between children’s movement and climate impacts in specific areas in South Asia and will provided examples of how other CSOs are addressing the issues in their practices. By sharing community-informed research, we hope to deepen collective understanding of how climate-induced displacement is impacting children’s rights, well-being, and futures in diverse contexts.
Attendees will also learn about the specific risks faced by certain groups of children, such as children with disabilities.
This is most useful for practitioners and CSOs working with children who are affected by climate change.
