About this webinar

Join us for an engaging webinar exploring how Pendekezo Letu’s programme applies a trauma-informed, child- and youth-centred, and family-strengthening approach to mental health and psychosocial support (MHPSS) for vulnerable children and young people in Kenya. The webinar will explore how the programme combines individual psychosocial support, group-based life-skills interventions, family engagement, and community-based prevention to enhance emotional well-being and build resilience.

The intervention is embedded within a holistic case management framework, ensuring coordinated and individualised support that responds to children’s diverse needs, including appropriate linkages to education, health, child protection, and livelihood services. By addressing needs and strengthening protective factors at the individual, family, and community levels, the programme aims to promote resilience, well-being, and positive long-term outcomes for children and young people.
