The Children on the Move 2026 campaign aims to raise awareness and take action to protect the identity rights of children on the move. The campaign has been developed by the network of locally led member organisations of Family for Every Child, calling for change at national and global levels.
The campaign draws attention to the causes of identity rights violations suffered by children and families around the world. These causes include barriers that prevent:
- birth certificate
- loss of cultural identity due to displacement
- loss of identity due to statelessness.
Identity is a fundamental right of all children. We call for policies and practices that ensure all migrant children can access and claim their right to identity. And we need your support to make that possible!
