Launch: How to support kinship care - lessons learnt from around the world!

Family for Every Child has developed global inter-agency guidance on supporting kinship care aimed at policy makers and programme managers, and we are delighted to launch the guidance amongst our community!

We define kinship care as care in the extended family or with friends of the family. The guidance aims to convince governments, UN agencies and NGOs of the need to prioritise support to kinship care, and outlines the key components of this support, providing examples of promising practice.

Join us for this launch webinar where we will share an overview of the guidance, the 2 year highly consultative process that led to its creation, and the key messages for audiences to take away. We will explore next steps for implementation and take up of the guidance, and invite participants to join us on our journey to embed the guidance in policy and practice.

This event will take place in English. Please let us know if you require interpretation into another language by emailing practiceexchange@familyforeverychild.org by Thursday 18th January 2024.

Please enroll via this event listing. At the time of the event you will be able to join via the link provided on this page.
